About Me

My photo
I love God and my family very much. I have a pretty big family and they are all amazing! I love my wife, Ashley. We just got married August 13, 2011! :) I love many different sports, playing and watching. I like being active, but I love relaxing when I can. I work full time at the Financial Aid Office at Central Michigan University. I am also going to school full-time, working on my Master's in Administration, with a focus in Information Resource Management.

Real Food

I am soooooooooooo ready for real food after the wisdom teeth operation! I am starving right now just thinking about where I am gong to eat tonight. Ashley and I are about ready to leave to go to a Saginaw Spirit game. I told her I would take her out to dinner before hand also. I think our choices are Olive Garden, Outback Steakhouse, and Red Lobster. Oh and maybe Fire Mountain Buffet. All of them sound amazing.

I do believe my teeth are ready to handle any kind of food. I am still going to try to stay away from crunchy things like toast and chips and that sort of stuff for a couple days. But I think I am ready to handle some steak as long as I am somewhat careful. I had French Toast and sausage links this morning for Breakfast with no problems at all.

I am so happy that my teeth are all taken care of and I am ready to eat all the Christmas goodies! I am so hungry.

Snow Fort of Epic proportions

Last winter, my roommates and I made a great snow fort that branched off our front porch. This year the apartment layout is different, so we decided to go with the back porch. Monday night, we decided to get a good solid base started for the snow fort this winter. It already looks amazing!

We have quite a bit of work still to do, but the base looks pretty sweet already. I think the spray paint gave it the look we were missing last year. We want to eventually get the side wall built up enough so that it goes to about our head level.

We really like how you can see Z-12 from the road! We just need very cold temperatures for a couple months to hold it strong, and a lot more snow so we can build it up to greatness.

Great time of year

I love the Christmas season. Some people say it is starting too early, with Christmas decorations popping up in stores before Halloween is here. I do think that is crazy, but it doesn't really affect me so what do I care. I love the snow coming down, even if it means semi-crappy roads for a while. I love the Christmas music. I love getting people I care about things I hope they like. I love celebrating the birth of Jesus, and having that reminder of the amazing Christmas story in the Bible. So I am always ready for the Christmas season to start...whenever the stores decide is the best for them. :)

I am done with my Christmas shopping. I am done with school for this semester...except for a couple Statistics tests I have to take online. I am ready to sit back and relax for about a month, and get to spend time with the people I love.

The only thing I don't love right now is that I have to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled this Tuesday. Everyone that I have heard stories from about getting their wisdom teeth removed have had good results and a quick recovery. I am definitely hoping for the same, but planning on hurting for a while.
